Music at Tonbridge is not confined to the School campus. The Chapel Choir has sung Evensongs in St Paul’s Cathedral, St George’s Chapel, Windsor, Southwark Cathedral and Chichester Cathedral as well as touring in France, Holland and Belgium, and the Symphony Orchestra has performed in Hong Kong.

Tonbridge School was founded in 1553 by Sir Andrew Judde, a distinguished member of the Worshipful Company of Skinners, which assumed the governance of the School after Judde’s death. Judde left property in London as an endowment for the School. Tonbridge occupies an extensive site of about 150 acres in north Tonbridge.
International applicants should complete the online Tonbridge Registration Form, which includes attaching the most recent school report and paying a non-refundable registration fee of £250 by 1 September.
An Unconditional Offer is awarded to boys with the strongest profiles. The offer is dependent on them remaining at their current school, or in a suitable educational environment, as deemed by Tonbridge School, until the end of Year 8, with a satisfactory final school report. You must notify the School of any change of educational setting.
