Drama is a collaborative art form and we place great emphasis on the individual’s responsibility to the group and the group’s responsibility to the individual. This creates an atmosphere of mutual respect where creativity can flourish.
We offer undergraduate and postgraduate courses in acting, musical theatre, directing, and production & technical arts, as well as a range of short courses throughout the year. Please note: Applications for North American-based applicants will open in the autumn.
The next steps depend on your location and your course type. Some of our courses require an audition, while others require an interview. If your course requires an interview (BA (Hons) or BA top-up Production & Technical Arts or MA Directing) you will be notified after submitting your initial application form.
Delivered throughout the year, these will include acting (voice, textual analysis, screen and artist development), movement, music and singing. And you will also flex your own creative muscles with the creation of a practical thesis presentation reflecting on the relationship between your classical training and contemporary theatre practice.
