31 de ago. de 2023 · The current implementation of the spirit box is absolute shit. It flashes red occasionally signifying that the system understood you and the ghost didn't respond. It flashes white if the system understood you and the ghost is responding. For some reason since the update it understands you like 1/10 of the times it use to.
24 de jul. de 2022 · My only personal experience with a spirit box was when I took the tour at Zak Bagans Haunted Museum in Las Vegas. There was a haunted doll exhibit with a spirit box. I tried to ask the doll a question and the only word that came through clearly was the word “insurance”, in that exact salesman-tone you’d hear in a commercial.

So in theory when the second person asks a question and an “entity” is answering the first person will answer without knowing the question. 17 de ago. de 2023 · - Spirit Box Ghost - Room Lights Off - Within Range of the Spirit Box In larger rooms it can be pretty difficult to get a response with the Tier 1 spirit box, due to it's low range. A trick I use is placing a motion sensor (or salt) and then stand close to it. When the sensor triggers (or it steps in the salt) quickly ask the question.
30 de dic. de 2021 · literally just have someone with the box walking around the map spamming "are you here ; where are you" when the investigation first starts. if the ghost is a box ghost than you'll know, trust me. and yes, lights have to be off and if the ghost is shy than your spirit box player needs to be left alone for the duration of their walk-around. 7.
17 de ago. de 2023 · It depends on the difficulty and the spirit box level. Sometimes, even though the ghost has that evidence, it is reluctant to show it. This makes the game a little harder and interesting at the same time. For example, I had many occasions when I tried the spirit box and the ghost simply refused to talk to me for the first 10 minutes of the game.
21 de feb. de 2024 · For me, double tapping the Windows key to refocus the game sometimes fixes it as well. If you're getting the prompt indicator, that means the Spirit Box is working, you're just not getting a response from the ghost. Which can be for a bunch of reasons: - The ghost doesn't have Spirit Box evidence. - You're not close enough to the ghost.
