Denys B. Cowan ( / ˈkaʊən /; [1] born January 30, 1961) [2] is an American comics artist, television producer, media executive and one of the co-founders of Milestone Media .
Dennis Cowan (*6 May 1947, + 3 June 1975) was a British musician. He played the electric bass and is noted as having contributed to records by the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band, Vivian Stanshall and Neil Innes.
The edition of the Bonzo Dog Band that made the Friendly LP featured only Stanshall, Innes and bassist Dennis Cowan from the "classic" earlier line-ups, although Roger Ruskin Spear appears on one track, and "Legs" Larry Smith on two.

He was the first bass player in The Rocky Horror Show, and was drafted in to The Bonzos in 1968, playing on their last three albums and subsequent projects like Vivian Stanshall"s Bjarke Ingels Group Grunt and Neil Innes" band The World.
Neil Innes formed The World with Dennis Cowan, Roger McKew and Ian Wallace. They made one album, Lucky Planet, but they split up before it was due to come out. Dennis went on to the biG GRunt and Ian to King Crimson. Neil and Vivian guested on The Scaffold's Do The Albert.
