Zwide kaLanga (c. 1758–1825) was the king of the Ndwandwe (Nxumalo) nation from about 1805 to around 1820. He was the son of Langa KaXaba, a Nxumalo king.

22 de ene. de 2012 · King Zwide was the chief of the Ndwandwe clan from about 1805 to around 1820 and he was the son of Langa, a Ndwandwe Chieftain (that is why the Nxumalos’ praisename is Zwide kaLanga or Mkhatshwa). He was ambitious in expanding Ndwandwe supremacy and was a prominent rival chieftain to Chief Dingiswayo of the Mtetwa as mentioned before.

Zwide KaLanga was a Ndwandwe king who fought against the Zulu Empire in the 1820s. He was the son of Langa KaXaba and the father of Soshangane, who founded the Shangane Kingdom.
