2 de abr. de 2024 · The Hunger Games franchise paid tribute to the late actor Philip Seymour Hoffman by having his character Plutarch Heavensbee write a letter to Katniss Everdeen. The letter was read by Haymitch Abernathy, who became a father figure to Katniss in the final film.
Philip Seymour Hoffman (July 23, 1967 – February 2, 2014) was an American actor and director. He portrayed Plutarch Heavensbee in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2.
