Dick Tracy: The Blank, a.k.a. Frankie "Faceless" Redrum, considered to be the first true supervillain that Dick Tracy fought, was a disfigured criminal who hid his hog-like face behind a featureless, flesh-colored cloth mask attached to his face.
Unfortunately, Big Boy discovers Bug and captures him for a trap planned by Influence and Pruneface to kill Tracy in the warehouse. In the resulting gun battle, a figure with no face (known as "The Blank") steps out of the shadows to save Tracy after he is cornered and kills Pruneface.
21 de feb. de 2021 · Nearly 25 years ago IDW’s Library of American Comics began reprinting the full run of Chester Gould’s Dick Tracy, starting with the strip’s premiere in late 1931. This week, with the release of Volume 29, the series reached its end, marking Gould’s retirement in 1977.
