Nucleus Co-op. Nucleus Co-op is a free and open source tool for Windows that allows split-screen play on many games that do not initially support it, the app purpose is to make it as easy as possible for the average user to play games locally using only one PC and one game copy.
Open Nucleus Co-Op and download the Minecraft script from the script browser. Assign your devices as usual, then click Play. Nucleus will open MultiMC. You will need to launch each instance, then select the javaw.exe processes when Nucleus prompts you.
Some handlers require the Nucleus Co-op folder to be located in the same drive as the game files. If you are still unsure where to place the folder, the root of the drive your games are installed on is usually the best option.
Nucleus Co-Op is a Windows tool that allows split-screen play on many games that do not support it. It uses sym-linked files, custom DLLs, and xinput libraries to run multiple instances of the same game with different gamepads.
