9 de feb. de 1996 · Elisabeth Shue stars as Sera, a prostitute who forms a friendship with a suicidal alcoholic writer (Nicolas Cage) in Las Vegas. The film is based on a novel by John O'Brien, who committed suicide after its publication.
He loads a supply of liquor and beer into his BMW and gets drunk as he drives from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. Once there, he develops a romantic relationship with a prostitute played by Elisabeth Shue and the film shifts to include her narrative perspective.
