His first appearance was in The Last Problem, being depicted as a little colt with a yellow coat and pink curly hair. His cutiemark is a cheesecake. The MLP Village game points out that Lil Cheese is a Filly, however this is believed to be a mistake as the creators have said he is a Colt.
