Biographie. Tony Leung Ka-fai apparaît pour la première fois à l'écran dans le film The Burning of the Imperial Palace de Li Han-hsiang (1983), où il joue l'empereur Xianfeng, rôle pour lequel il obtient son premier Prix d’interprétation aux Hong Kong Film Awards.
Tony Leung Ka-Fai joined TVB's Actor Training Course in 1981. He then joined RTHK. During his three years services, he starred in a number of TV dramas. He once wrote articles for the newspaper Sun Man Pao, and later even published his own collected articles as a book.
