He is best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the indie rock band Death Cab for Cutie, with whom he has recorded ten studio albums, and as a member of the supergroup The Postal Service.
Hace 3 días · “For the first five years of Death Cab, we were touring like crazy, and living hand-to-mouth,” he recalls. “By the end of 2000, after we’d had a couple of records and an EP out, we started making enough money to just barely eke out a living, but in order to do that, we had to tour constantly, which left me with no time to write.”
