Propellerheads were an English electronic music duo, formed in 1995 in Bath and consisting of Will White and Alex Gifford.
Propellerheads fue una banda británica fundada por Alex Gifford y Will White. Su nombre significa en la jerga californiana, "empollones informáticos". El grupo es originario de Bath se dio a conocer en 1997 gracias a la utilización de su canción "Dive!" en un anuncio por parte de Adidas.
Justo por aquellos días, a comienzos de los noventa, Alex Gifford empieza a componer sus propios temas y frecuenta un club llamado The Hub en Bath, ciudad donde nacen Propellerheads. Gifford pincha en ese club en algunas ocasiones y uno de los socios del local le presenta a un batería llamado Will White, la otra mitad del dúo.
