As It Is is an album by drummer Peter Erskine, which was recorded in September 1995 and released on ECM the following year. The trio features pianist John Taylor —who wrote most of the album—and bassist Palle Danielsson. [1]

Nigel John Taylor (born 20 June 1960) is a British musician who is best known as the bass guitarist for new wave band Duran Duran, of which he was a founding member.
