Michael William Gallagher (born 29 October 1945) is an English Hammond organ player best known as a member of Ian Dury and the Blockheads and for his contributions to albums by the Clash. He has also written music for films such as Extremes (1971) and After Midnight (1990), and the Broadway play Serious Money (1987).

He has also written music for films such as Extremes (1971) and After Midnight (1990), also the Broadway play Serious Money (1988).
Their line-up includes Mickey Gallagher (keyboards), Chaz Jankel (guitar, vocals, keyboards), John Turnbull (guitar), John Roberts (drums), Dave Lewis (sax), Nathan King (bass), and Mike Bennett (vocals).
When Price left the band on the verge of a Swedish tour in 1965 it was Mick Gallagher who stepped in, when they could find him (we’ll get to that later). It was, as we find out a huge but fleeting moment for a young kid from Newcastle.
