Anthony "Anto" Thistlethwaite (born 31 August 1955, Lutterworth, Leicestershire, England) is an Irish multi-instrumentalist best known as a founding member (with guitarist Mike Scott) of the folk rock group, The Waterboys and later as a long-standing member of Irish rock band The Saw Doctors.

Anthony Thistlethwaite is one of the original members of The Waterboys, a band led by Mike Scott. He co-wrote several songs, played on all the albums until 1991, and rejoined the band for some special shows in 2012 and 2013.
