Jan “Örkki” Yrlund back in 1997. Darkgrove creates artwork and illustrations mainly for the music industry and has its roots in Metal, Gothic, Fantasy, Rock and Alternative styles. Besides music related commissions, Darkgrove is also available for all kinds of different graphic works, video production and content creation.
Additionally, guitarist Jan Yrlund brings his artistic vision to the forefront, ensuring that the album’s visuals match the music’s depth and complexity. Through this collaborative effort, “Dark Paradise” promises a captivating experience for fans both sonically and visually.
Interview of IMPERIA (Symphonic Gothic Metal Band) - Jan Yrlund, guitarist. I N T E R V I E W. Hello Jan and thank you for this interview. Can you first of all present the band? Imperia is a multinational metal band and it was formed by Helena Iren Michaelsen (ex- Trail Of Tears) in 2004 in the Netherlands.
Now the multi- cultural troupe around singer Helena Iren Michaelsen and guitarist Jan Yrlund strikes again. The album features lot of different styles; from goth rock to metal songs, but you will also find beautiful ballads and more folkish songs. That’s what the short press release says.
