Continuum: Lifelong Learning in Neurology® is the official CME journal of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN). Published since 1993, Continuum® is an in-depth clinically oriented review journal for the practicing neurologist, residents and fellows, and medical students.
PURPOSE OF REVIEW. This article reviews the neurologic complications encountered with cardiac and pulmonary disorders, specifically focusing on endocarditis, cardiac arrest, heart failure, hypercapnia, hypoxia, and cystic fibrosis.
