Pitch Black (conocida en Hispanoamérica como Eclipse mortal o, también, como Criaturas de la noche) es una película dirigida por David N. Twohy y protagonizada por Vin Diesel, Radha Mitchell, Cole Hauser y Keith David. Es la primera parte de una saga. Su secuela Las crónicas de Riddick se estrenó en 2004.
