1 de feb. de 2021 · The inaugural commander of the United Kingdom’s new Space Command has been announced as Air Commodore Paul Godfrey OBE who will be promoted to the rank of Air Vice-Marshal. Air Commodore Godfrey joined the RAF in 1991 and has been a fighter pilot most of his career.
Air Marshal Paul Alexander Godfrey, OBE is a senior Royal Air Force officer, who served as the first commander of the United Kingdom Space Command.

Paul Victor Godfrey, CM, OOnt (born January 1939) is a businessman and former Canadian politician. During his career, Godfrey was a North York alderman, Chairman of Metro Toronto, President of the Toronto Sun and head of the Toronto Blue Jays.
