MACHETE KILLS je báječná oddychovka nejen pro Rodriguezovy fandy, kteří si zde spolehlivě přijdou na své. Ačkoli si stále myslím, že Danny Trejo je v podstatě neherec, zrovna u tohoto filmu jsem neměl problém nechat se unést jeho replikami i vlnou nadsázky, na které se nese šílený děj.

18 de jul. de 2020 · Machete star Danny Trejo has revealed that Machete Kills in Space is delayed because of one crucial reason. Trejo first played the character of Machete for Robert Rodriguez’s Spy Kids’films, and later reprised the character in the fake trailer that appeared in between segments of the double-feature film Grindhouse.
The film is preceded by a fake trailer for "Machete Kills Again... In Space!", which features the titular hero on an intergalactic mission, starring Danny Trejo, Michelle Rodriguez, Alexa Vega, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber as a robot named Bleep (which Machete destroys), and Leonardo DiCaprio as "The Man in the Silver Mask" (with the sub-note that the actor playing the role is subject to change).
