la nostra storia. Madeo Vietina was an ambitious traveler who made it around the world twice in the late 1800s and early 1900s. As a Navy Sailor, Madeo came to California in 1906 for a few months to offer support for the San Francisco earthquake, before coming back to Italy to marry his wife, Maitó. Together they had a daughter, Bianca.
