Remington Steele is an American television series co-created by Robert Butler and Michael Gleason. The series, starring Stephanie Zimbalist and Pierce Brosnan, was produced by MTM Enterprises and first broadcast on the NBC network from October 1, 1982, to February 17, 1987.
3 de jun. de 2018 · Daniel Chalmers, a charming con man, gets reacquainted with his protege, Remington Steele, when the two plan a sting operation against Albert Hoskins, a crooked casino owner who has murdered Chalmers' associate. Meantime, Hoskins hires Laura Holt to find Chalmers, claiming that he owes him money, actually, he is planning to kill Chalmers.
To solve the problem, Laura invents a fictitious male superior whom she names Remington Steele. Through a series of events that unfold in the first episode, "License to Steele," a former thief and con man, whose real name is never revealed, assumes the identity of Remington Steele. Behind the scenes, Laura remains firmly in charge.
