Under Analyze, the dropdown list shows "apply as column" but it is grayed out Also, in the packet window DNS.Time field shows up, but when I right click on this field, I do not see the Option to "apply as column". the packet is valid but the Wireshark dissector for it has a bug; the packet isn't a packet for the protocol in question but is being dissected as a packet for that protocol by Wireshark. The answer could be different for those four examples; we would have to see the actual network traces to see, for each of them, what the reason is.
31 de oct. de 2017 · I used Wireshark many moons ago and need to return to the fold, but this time to sniff USB packets. I've installed USBpcap but there is no USB interface shown on Wireshark, just the Ethernet connections. I've looked at the documentation but can't find an idiot's how-to. The references to USB seem to be in the context of USB to Ethernet convertors.

18 de dic. de 2023 · 1 2 1. Installed 4.0.9 on Windows 10. Changed gui.update.enabled to FALSE. Even after this, wireshark updated automatically to the current latest 4.2.0 after the interval specified in gui.update.interval elapsed. So it looks like setting gui.update.enabled to FALSE does not work.
5 de ago. de 2020 · I am using the latest Wireshark downloaded from site. I am able to capture goose protocol but not MMS protocol. IEC61850 commands are not captured. I have also done changes in PRES after searching in internet to capture IEC61850 and MMS but it’s not working. Please suggest a solution.
28 de jul. de 2024 · The uninstall folder containing uninstall-wireshark.exe. There IS no uninstall folder. If you insist on manually uninstalling by running the uninstaller, rather than by using Settings, as described in my answer, uninstall-wireshark.exe is installed in the top-level installation directory for Wireshark.
