Paul Rudd is an American actor, film and television producer, and screenwriter best known for his comedy roles. He was often cast as a charismatic everyman. The breakthrough for his film career began with the teen comedy Clueless (1995).
Clueless became an instant cult hit, propelling both Silverstone as well as her co-star Paul Rudd to greater heights. Silverstone subsequently signed a deal with Columbia-TriStar for between USD 8 – 10 million and also took home the awards for Best Female Performance and Most Desirable Female at the 1996 MTV Movie Awards.
