Meat Puppets are an American rock band formed in January 1980 in Phoenix, Arizona. The group's original lineup was Curt Kirkwood (guitar/vocals), his brother Cris Kirkwood (bass guitar/vocals), and Derrick Bostrom (drums). The Kirkwood brothers met Bostrom while attending Brophy Prep High School in Phoenix.

From the slapdash cover, rife with misspellings and incorrect information, to the crackbrained song selection, this head-scratcher stands out like the misfit that it is. Nonetheless, it's the only double-length Meat Puppets CD, which makes it a bargain as well as a good starting-point for the uninitiated.
