Conceived and recorded at Strawberry Studios in Stockport between 1976 and 1977 by producer David Rohl, the album features musical and vocal appearances by Barclay James Harvest, 10cc, Justin Hayward (The Moody Blues), Maddy Prior (Steeleye Span), Noel Redding (Jimi Hendrix Experience), Sad Café and the Hallé Orchestra.
The second album featured, among others, all of the original members of 10CC, the current members of Barclay James Harvest, Justin Hayward of The Moody Blues, and Steeleye Span's Maddy Prior. The result is, understandably schizophrenic.
