Hopscotch is a popular playground game in which players toss a small object, called a lagger, into numbered triangles or a pattern of rectangles outlined on the ground and then hop or jump through the spaces and retrieve the object.

You can make your court as large you want, but the traditional Hopscotch court has eight to ten squares. These squares can be alternated as single squares and double squares (side by side).
21 de abr. de 2024 · All you need to play hopscotch is sidewalk chalk and a marker. A stone or a beanbag makes an ideal marker. Sidewalk chalk is perfect for creating a court on the driveway, sidewalk, or asphalt. For grass, duct tape works to make a court.
The court is laid out on a level surface. Each player gets a marker, usually a stone or other small object like a stick, coin or a bean bag. The first player tosses his marker on the square marked number 1. The marker must land fully in the square, not touching the line.
16 de oct. de 2023 · To play hopscotch, a court is first laid out on the ground. Depending on the available surface, the court is either scratched out in the dirt or drawn with chalk on pavement. Courts may be permanently marked where playgrounds are commonly paved, as in elementary schools.
