After Burner II(アフターバーナーII?) is an arcade-style flight game released by Sega in 1987. It is the second game in the After Burner series. In the game, you fly a F-14 Tomcat jet fighter, gunning down enemies while avoiding incoming fire. After Burner II came in several different versions, the most famous being a large sit-down cabinet.

Similar to its predecessor, the premise of After Burner II is to get on the F-14 Tomcat and fly mission after mission of shooting planes out of the sky. At your disposal is a vulcan cannon (basically a machine gun) and a limited number of missiles.
In 1989, SEGA Enterprises Ltd. publishes After Burner II on DOS. Also published on Amiga, Amstrad CPC, FM Towns, Genesis, MSX, SEGA 32X, SEGA Saturn, Sharp X68000 and TurboGrafx-16, this action game is abandonware and is set in an arcade, flight and shooter themes.
