5 de sept. de 2023 · Enabling monitor mode on Win 11. I have been able to enable my device to monitor mode via WlanHelper. I went into Wireshark and on the home screen the wifi activity is shown. When i go to Capture>Options, the checkbox under the Monitor Mode column does not allow me to check it. I don't know why it's doing this?

There is a current Wireshark issue open (18414: Version 4.0: failed to to set hardware filter to promiscuous mode) that points to a npcap issue: 628: failed to set hardware filter to promiscuous mode with Windows 11 related to Windows drivers with Windows 11.
14 de feb. de 2020 · Unfortunately, Wireshark does not show nor my ethernet interface, no any traffic at all. Link to screenshot is https://ibb.co/gPNvHfc. I am using Avast Antivirus & Firewall, but if I disable them, nothing happens. My DesktopPC is in home LAN with router and Laptop. I installed Wireshark on Laptop and it works fine.

28 de sept. de 2023 · Unfortunately, changing the 802.11 capture modes is very platform/network adapter/driver/libpcap dependent, and might not be possible at all (Windows is very limited here). I think you're running into the latter problem, your hardware\firmware\driver doesn't support monitor mode. edit flag offensive delete link more.

Next to the MonitorModeEnabled = 1 setting in the registry, as described on the Intel page, you also need to disable the "Priority & VLAN" in the Ethernet Controller adapter properties. Only then the stripping of VLAN tags is disabled and passed on unchanged to npap.

4 de oct. de 2024 · 20040: Wireshark 4.4.0 (Windows 10) install doesn't install USBcap USBcapCMD.exe in the correct directory. If you would like to test, download a development build for Wireshark-4.4.1rc0. link. I upgraded from 4.0.6 to 4.4.0 in a relatively up-to-date Windows 11 install. In doing so lost the USBPcap interfaces.
28 de may. de 2019 · 1 Answer. This is Moving Average Window (similar as here). As I understand it counts in seconds, so MA = 1 means Moving Average with 1 second time span.
