29 de dic. de 2023 · It is a modified Telecaster with a Gibson PAF Humbucker in the neck and a standard Tele single-coil in the bridge. The guitar features a built-in preamp controlled by a toggle.
21 de mar. de 2007 · It’s a note-perfect replica of the 1961 Tele® that Summers used to help propel the Police to untold heights of worldwide pop superstardom. The prototype, built by Fender Custom Shop Master Builder Dennis Galuszka over the course of a year, is currently in use with Andy now.
This Masterbuilt model was part of a limited run of 250. It is a replica of Andy Summer's modded '61 Telecaster. Years of Production: 2007
14 de sept. de 2021 · Andy Summers was working as a classical guitar teacher in the early 1970's when one of his students offered to sell him a highly modified 1961 Fender Telecaster. Andy purchased the beat up customized Tele for $200, and it became his main guitar throughout the history of The Police.
