The series centers on four main characters that are in their first year of high school: Konata Izumi, Kagami Hiiragi, Tsukasa Hiiragi, and Miyuki Takara. Konata is an intelligent, athletic girl but she’s a lazy student, mostly because of her obsession with manga and anime and her otaku lifestyle.
Lucky Star is a 24 episode slice-of-life comedy anime chock full of parodies and references to everything anime. Featuring chibi visuals and a cast of almost only female characters (mainly high school girls), this looks like a recipe for disaster and cringe.
