Noodle es el único miembro de Gorillaz, además de 2D, que demostró algún tipo de talento vocal. No fue hasta la segunda fase con el álbum Demon Days que en realidad se le escucha hablar Inglés con fluidez en sus conversaciones.
Fase 1. Cuando tenía 10 años de edad, Noodle llegó a Kong Studios en una caja de FedEx, en respuesta a un anuncio colocado por Gorillaz en el New Musical Express, diciendo que se necesitaba urgentemente un guitarrista experimentado.

30 de mar. de 2017 · Noodle’s second phase begins with the album Demon Days. We usually see her dancing to the beat of “Dare” while Shaun Ryder delivers his catchy rhymes. She plays the guitar with a more stern face in the “Feel Good Inc.” video clip.
Phase 4 2016-2017. In 2016, Noodle was featured in a Jaguar racing commerical as an ambassador. After seven whole years, Gorillaz released a new album called "Humanz", featuring Noodle in alot more music videos. She was about 26-27 in this phase.
