19 de may. de 2021 · Just before this scene happened, a zombie Spider-man from another universe ate the rest of the Sinister Six. Sandman escaped, turned a corner and saw the universe's "normal" Spider-man and got confused between the two.
Sandman, who had managed to escape from the Zombie Spider-Man, ran into his universe's Spider-Man. Death. Understandably, Sandman went into an homicidal rage and started to pummel Spider-Man into the ground, mistaking him for the Zombie Spider-Man that had killed his partners.

Despite this, Sandman always held back in fights and reframed from becoming an actual killer, showing he still had a conscience.
