  1. 25 de oct. de 2021 · BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA (1992) A few things to praise first up, I love the visual design and decor, I love the way it tries to mimick the book's writing and storytelling style. I thought the performances were all great (except Keanu's English accent) and what can I say it was perfectly campy for a cozy night of spooky movies with friends.

  2. 27 de abr. de 2023 · Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992) ending discussion / killing Dracula seems unnecessary. By the end of the movie Dracula reverts to his younger self and we are sure about him going back to the movie's idea of being "in god" / with the light because the stone cross gets unbroken again. On a conceptual framework then why in logic would Mina interpret ...

  3. After awhile it gets a bit old seeing the ambiguous, misunderstood Dracula and you want to go back to the days where he was absolutely and unquestionably evil. remembering that it's a tragic story, not horror. Dracula is a tragic hero and it's a very sexual story about power, loss and love.

  4. 9 de abr. de 2021 · For example, is far more complex than the armor in the op, yet it gives you clear mobility without issue, because it was made by people who understood how movable solid sections work along with the human body. There was so much great costume design in that movie IIRC. And Tom Waits acting crazier than a shithouse rat.

  5. 14 de sept. de 2023 · 1958's Dracula with Christopher Lee is the best Drac film. It might be heresy to say, but I like it even more than the 1931 Bela Lugosi Dracula. Again, don't get me wrong, I love 1992 Dracula. It's great, but there are other vampire films that are better. It's all based on personal opinion

  6. 5 de feb. de 2024 · Personally, I like it and I find it a scary movie, but I really didn't like the (Dracula/ Mina) arc (their love story) because it was so different from the novel, as far as I remember, Mina felt that Dracula was violating her soul and body and she felt nothing but pity for him, I don't know why this love story was included in the movie and the whole movie was built on it?

  7. And she does so after she was bitten by Dracula As for Dracula in this particular movie-well yeah, he is a horrible monster who murders people and turns them into food or vampires and he is somewhat sad in regard to his situation with Mina, cause Mina is the only one he cares about while he doesn’t give a damn about others.

  8. 30 de abr. de 2022 · The two dark-haired vampire women are described as facially resembling the Count, in that the three have aquiline noses. It has been suggested from this that it may have been Stoker's intent that these two are Dracula's daughters, extending the sexuality metaphor of vampirism to incest. When the brides first discover Harker, the blonde vampire ...

  9. gf120581. •. Probably "Bram Stoker's Dracula" is the most faithful of all the adaptations, despite a fair amount of changes such as the Dracula/Mina love story. For one, it's like the only adaptation that has all of the book characters, including Quincy Morris, who always seems to get left out. Reply reply.

  10. Though I can't remember exactly how faithful it is, I've always far and away loved Coppola's Dracula (1992) the most. For sure it actually tells the breadth of the story from Transylvania to London and back. Has Dracula (Gary Oldman!), Harker, Mina and Lucy, Van Helsing (Anthony Hopkins!), and Renfield.
