Doesn't make sense saying 'In', even with 'holiday' in the singular. C) For my last holiday (singular) I went to Sardinia.

10 de nov. de 2017 · If you were in Greece during the entire holiday, the usual form would be: "For my last holiday I went to Greece". If it was just something you did, let's say on a grand tour of southern Europe, you might say "during my last holiday, I went to/was in Greece".

The preposition on is normally used for dates (i.e. on 25th December) and days of the week. In British English, people ‘go on holiday’ but in American English they ‘go on vacation’. In is normally used with ‘weeks’, ‘months’ and ‘years’, for example: in two two weeks' time; in July; and in 2016.

30 de jun. de 2010 · In my holidays is not correct. People use "on my holidays" when talking about something they do/did when they are/were on holiday. "On my holidays I like to eat the local food". However, personally, I would say "On holiday..." or "When I am on holiday...." or "During my holidays.....
