  1. I've been having a lot of trouble with Shadow of the tomb raider. After around 15 to 30 min of gameplay the game crashes. I suspect this is due to Directx 12 as in rise of tomb raider whenever i'd use x12 my game would crash.

  3. Windows 10, 64-bit. Edit: Turning the GeForce overlay off seemed to be the key thing that fixed it, though I will say I had the vsync off, Shadows to normal, and direct x 12 disabled (unchecked in the options of the game).

  4. The game hard crashes to desktop, then the computer slowly crashes. Forced to do a hard reset on the case. This has happened atleast 5 times trying to get DX12 to work. Tried DX11, fired up, no issues...

  5. I may have found a fix for the DX12 crashes. - Try disabling Tesselation in the graphics settings of the game first of all and see whether that helps. - If that does not help, download MSI afterburner and downclock your GPU and GPU memory by -50Mhz.

  6. These crashes are now appearing in a particular area of the game (in the little lake area before the challenge tomb in San Juan). No matter what settings I set the GPU to the game keeps crashing. The error message reads its a driver crash and that I may not have adequate system resources.

  7. 27 de feb. de 2019 · I'm getting either a crash to desktop on startup with '0x887A0007:DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_RESET' or a black screen and a hang with the fans on max. Only happens when DX12 is enabled. Tried swapping in a a 290x that I had installed until recently and it works with DX12 enabled.
