1995 logo (Pixar) In 1995, a CGI-customized version of the 1990 Walt Disney Pictures logo was introduced for Pixar movies. This logo uses a computer-generated facsimile of the castle and lacks the beam of light or segmenting, instead zooming out from the castle gates.

Even after 1995, this logo still used production cels painted by hand throughout the late 1990s and into the mid-2000s. Disney last used the production cels for this logo in a theatrical trailer for the 2005 movie Chicken Little. The hand-painted cels for this logo looked pretty outdated and cheap by this time.

It was first introduced on 2011's The Muppets, used on Pixar films starting with Brave, and on Walt Disney Animation Studios films starting with Wreck-It Ralph which both released in 2012. Although a new on-screen logo was unveiled in 2022, honoring the company's 100th anniversary, this print logo is still in use.
