FanMail is TLC's second-best-selling album after their 1994 studio album CrazySexyCool. To promote the album, TLC embarked on their first concert tour titled the FanMail Tour.

FanMail is the third studio album by American R&B/Hip-Hop girl group TLC. It was released on February 23, 1999 in the United States and was the trio's first album since 1994's CrazySexyCool. The title of the album is a tribute to their fans who sent them fanmail during their hiatus.
