Dave Wagenschutz, best known as the drummer for New Jersey melodic hardcore band Lifetime, then joined the band and recorded the next two albums and toured with Good Riddance.
Biography. Born in Detroit Rock City; David left the Midwest behind for an East Coast punk rock odyssey. He built his foundation in the 90s with his bands Lifetime, Ink & Dagger and Kid Dynamite. The Aughts brought more thunder with Good Riddance on the West Coast, while Paint it Black and None More Black helped further develop his sound back East.

David Wagenschutz, former drummer of Kid Dynamite (1997-2000) and Lifetime (1992-1994), joined Good Riddance in the fall of 2000. David Wagenschutz is living in Philadelphia, with his wife Martina and has several pets: Sara, Alexander, Mr. Cat, Tiggy, Pudz and Costello.
David Wagenschutz (b. October 8, 1971 in Detriot, Michigan) is the drummer of Higher Giant. Prior to joining Good Riddance, David was the drummer in the New Jersey band Lifetime. He has also been the drummer for Kid Dynamite, Ink & Dagger, Paint It Black and JFKK.
The chemistry between drummer Dave Wagenschutz and guitarist Dan Yemin was already established when Jay Shevchuk stole an audition as the group's vocalist.
