    Gaylord Birch (March 10, 1946 – April 14, 1996) was the drummer for the Pointer Sisters during 1973-1975 and 1977, and for Graham Central Station during 1976-1977 and 1979. Birch also appeared in the band Santana during 1976 and again in 1991 as well as playing the drums for a number of Herbie Hancock performances.
