David Jon Gilmour (Cambridge, Reino Unido, 6 de marzo de 1946) es un músico, compositor y multiinstrumentista británico, conocido por haber sido vocalista, guitarrista y uno de los compositores de la banda de rock progresivo Pink Floyd, a la cual se unió poco antes del abandono de Syd Barrett en 1968.

David Jon Gilmour CBE (/ ˈ ɡ ɪ l m ɔː r / GHIL-mor; born 6 March 1946) is an English guitarist, singer and songwriter who is a member of the rock band Pink Floyd. He joined in 1967, shortly before the departure of the founder member Syd Barrett.
The discography of David Gilmour, the lead guitarist of Pink Floyd, consists of four studio albums, two live albums and fourteen singles.
