16 de nov. de 2021 · Andre-----(I used Waves S1 Imager on a song, but for some reason the plugin shows as VST3 only, and that's choking my DAW (Mixcraft 8). I wasted another 2 hours trying to makes Waves Central install its update, so I could update my Waves plugins (Win 7), but I give up. I now can't stand Waves).
27 de mar. de 2023 · I downloaded the latest Waves Central and agreed to the new normal, and discovered that the v10 and v13 plugins I "own" are now not installable, unless I subscribe. As if. I have a newly-built tower with no Waves stuff on it yet, and naturally I want to now add my older plugins, but the latest Waves Central won't let you.
9 de jun. de 2022 · DISCOVERED THE FIX: Go into Settings in the app, and at the bottom of the list is the Clear Cache Settings function. My cache was at 1.17GB! Once I ran that, Waves Central restarted and the download worked perfectly. Got a bit of drive space back too. Click to read more... doctoremmet and Double Helix.

That was true even before Version 10, which only made it worse. But, as several folks have already said, it's possible. You just have to follow instructions carefully and be willing to wait.

I've found when you need to install a new plugin, don't forget to check everything you own, or it will uninstall what you don't check and just install what you do. Though I did think they fixed this.
14 de jun. de 2018 · Waves Central is a joke. Nothing but confusion for me. I get the same "no license" thing, but I think that's for licenses in the cloud. The licenses certainly seem to be stored on my computer. I had problems with disappearing plugins that was solved after I used "Easy Install & Activate." Unfortunately, there's nothing easy about Waves Central.
4 de abr. de 2012 · With Waves now going 64 bit, and no iLok, it's looking really appealing to get them. AND, Waves is running a nice special. Gold bundle for under 500$. My question is; should I pick it up? It has a lot of fantastic plugins for the money: L1 limiter Q10 EQ C1 Compressor C4 Multiband IR-L Convo Verb. TrueVerb Some of the Renaissance plugs.
20 de jun. de 2018 · Yes this is using the Waves Central app and you should be able to do it with the most recent version of Waves Central V10. I used Uninstall to remove "All V10 Plugins" and just reinstalled everything from scratch under Install products. You can see an image of the option here> https://ibb.co/hd0RBy. S.

I do not want to update my existing Waves plugins (they want 240 bucks to do so). If I buy a few more Waves plugins will this mess up my existing ones? I recall that Daniel James downloaded...
24 de sept. de 2022 · We now have a completely new approach to CPU/GPU in the newer Macs. Waves was one of the first devs to update its entire line of plugins to Apple Silicon Native. I had used Waves plugins under macOS for many years without WUPping; was running V9-V12 plugs simultaneously under various OS versions up to and including Mojave without any problems.
