She is a three-time César Award winner (1977, 1996, 2002), a two-time Molière Award winner, a BAFTA nominee, and a recipient of several international prizes including the Volpi Cup (Best actress) at the 1965 Venice Film Festival for Three Rooms in Manhattan.

28 de feb. de 2011 · En el hospital Lariboisière à Paris, falleció a los 79 años la actriz francesa Annie Girardot, quien padecía desde el 2006 el mal de Alzheimer. La artista, intérprete entre otros clásicos del cine como Rocco y sus hermanos, de Luchino Visconti, había perdido la memoria y no recordaba sus años como actriz.
